Roman P. Kuppart is one of the managing members of the law firm of Culley, Feist, Kuppart and Jordan, LLC. He was born in 1970 and graduated from Harrisburg High School in 1988. In 1992 he graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Georgia. He returned to Southern Illinois in the Fall of 1992 and began working for his grandfather, Harold B. Culley, Jr. as a paralegal/office manager. In the Fall of 1998, he began law school at Southern Illinois University in Carbondale. He graduated with a Juris Doctorate in the Spring of 2002. He took the Illinois State Bar exam in July of 2002 and was admitted to practice law in the State of Illinois in November of 2002.
Since returning to Southern Illinois, Roman has specialized in the prosecution of Occupational Disease Cases, Workers Compensation Cases, Personal Injury Cases, and Social Security Disability Cases. He became a partner with his grandfather in August, 2007. He had worked with his grandfather for 23 years prior to Mr. Culley’s death in July, 2013. In September, 2013, Roman merged his and his grandfather’s law firm with the law firm of Michael Feist, where he continues to specialize in Occupational Disease Cases, Workers Compensation Cases, Personal Injury Cases and Social Security Disability Cases. In January, 2018, Kylee J. Jordan was made a partner in the firm, which is now known as Culley, Feist, Kuppart & Jordan, LLC. Roman comes from a long line of coal miners and has made it his mission in life to get the coal miners and their families the benefits that they are entitled to.
Roman is an avid outdoorsman enjoys hunting and fishing. He also enjoys traveling and cooking with his wife. He lives in Harrisburg with his wife, Julie, and his yellow Labrador retriever, Samson, and his English Mastiff, Sig.
